Comfort food.

A good old-fashioned Irish stew for dinner today. Made with lamb of course. Just the thing as an alternative to all the goodies on offer. Mind you it was followed by a sherry trifle which the Redhead didn't bother making for Christmas Day, enough was enough on that occasion.
All ready to ring in the New Year. Not going to watch Jools Holland tonight, we were miffed when we found out that last years show was pre-recorded in October.
