Year 2, Day 345 - Hogmanay

After a lovely sunrise, I spent the day slaving over a hot stove as I have the family coming to me tomorrow for dinner!

I also had some sad news about my neighbour who passed away just before Christmas.  I knew she had been ill but I had no idea she had passed away.  She used to come and let Aonghus out for me before I started working form home.  She will be missed by a lot of people.  I would have liked to go to the funeral but it is a private ceremony, at her request, for family only.
