Welney Washes

is low lying land that is usually flooded, adjacent to the village of Welney which is in Norfolk - just, and close to the border with Cambridgeshire. The area is also a wildfowl reserve.

The water level can rise enough to cover the adjacent road but tractors and large 4x4 vehicles can get through with care.
