Red shafted...

...Northern Flicker.
It's not often that I get such a good view of the red shafts in the tail and wing feathers of this bird. Never mind that I had to be out in -2 F. temps to get it!
Here's to another great year of taking time to be still and know God through seeing marvelous things through the lens of a camera!
