Keeping in Touch

The newspapers all seem to be saying what an awful year 2014 was, and I know that for many, many in our world, it was - but for me, I'd say it was bittersweet. My Mum died, but then, as she said so often, she WANTED to go home, her suffering is over and she had a good life.

And then, my first grandson was safely born, and he is an utter delight - to all of us. All three kids and grandson visited our old community in Brazil's sertão, AND returned safely.

Many other good things I could relate, including all the fun I've had here in Blipland - but better get on with preparing for the celebrations tonight...

The photo is my daughter catching up - for almost an hour - with a good friend, while we walked in the frosty sunshine - because, in the end, what makes life good are the people we love, and who - miraculously - love us!
