Animals as appendages

A dear friend of mine was traveling this week and happened to be passing by us at lunch time. It was wonderful to see her, though short. Her cats, Tony and Mayonaise, traveled with her. She has set up this cage strapped and seat belted to the passenger seat so they cat be together and see where they are going. This is the result of much trial and error. When in seperate cages they cry. When in the back, one vomits, ect, ect ect. I had once been accused of bieng abnormal because of they way I see my pets. I was told most people do not see their animals as extensions of themselves, as "apendages". This is untrue of most of the people I know. Case in point illustrated in this photo. True, I know mostly animal people, but I am happy with that. And my dogs.
