Never too late

We had a trip to Ikea today. We got up early to try and avoid the crowds and it sort of worked. We were able to buy all what we went for plus more! Home to watch Mr PB assemble the new china cabinet and put up various shelves etc.  

The china cabinet will live in the conservatory (future blip!) and will house all my Cornish Kitchen ware and Pip Studio tea set. We used to collect the blue and white Cornish Kitchen ware, but when we moved into this house 8 years ago, we had no where to put it , so it has stayed in the attic until today. I was quite excited about brining it down and using it again. However, I had forgotten how much we had! We both kept exclaiming that we had forgotten about certain pieces. Still haven't found the tea cups and tea pot - in a box somewhere!

Here is Mr PB at about 9.30 pm icing the Christmas cake! Once the icing was on, he thought that was it and didn't see a lot of point in decorating it. But then I found my new Airedale biscuit cutter, so the cake has 2 Airedales on!
