The Moreton Games

Just another sleepy day in Moreton!

This Boxing Day saw the 57th(ish) Moreton Boxing Day Games - an event which starts with a relay race through the village where competitors have to race up and down the main street, necking cups of baked beans, downing pints of guinness, eating sausages, cracking a raw egg over their head and then popping balloons full of flour over their head!

The winner of the relay then gets to choose the side of the river they start from for the main event - the tug of war.

The winner gets a nice trophy.  The losers.... well, they get very wet!
