Schools Out

More traveling today, into the heart of the Maniototo, Central Otago. Cambrian is a township settled by Welsh Miners, Welshmans Gully and welshtown were already place names. The Roman word for Wales and her Counties is Cambria and they setteled with the name Cambrian. Wonderful place and wonderful locals. My other photos will show what we saw from greeting a local flying Y Ddraig Goch, in Welsh, he couldn't speak Welsh and not a bad effort for a Duthman who can't speak Dutch.
Cambrian/HamiltonsWe also went over to Patearoa to where the old Sanitorium used to be and up to Hamiltons Cemetery, this is all that is left of 4000 people and 25 Drinking Establishments. Todays blip is from the old School at Cambrians.
