North Beach, Buller River Mouth, Westport, NZ

Was a cold day to visit the beach with a little snow on the top of the mountains, water was choppy and extremely dirty from previous few days rain. The kids and I took the dog for a walk down the beach and for once we did not enter the water, thankfully!!, there were a couple of freak wave moments with the incoming tide so we stayed well away and just ran towards the tip head down the beach. Lovely, humungous rain and snow clouds were coming our way.
