Hartbeespoort from the Top of the Mountain

We had one wonderful, fun day with friends today! Kobus and Kotie treated us to a lovely lunch at the Restaurant on the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountain's Cableway, After lunch we took the Cable Car Ride to the top of the mountain! Always a huge treat, the view from there is absolutely breathtaking! We took zillions of images.

Choosing is always tough on days like this, but I thought this one was quite nice, giving a view of a few suburbs of Harties like Melodie, where we stay, Ifafi and Meerhof. If you could peep through the trees right in front of me, on the mountain, to see the houses at the foot of the mountain, you will find our house, the houses in the middle of the water is Ifafi and those on the other side of the water is Meerhof.

The white spot, right in the middle of the picture, quite high up, almost on top of the fárrrrr mountain range, is the infamous Coca Cola Dome some 53 km from us! It was slightly misty today, but on a clear day I took quite nice pics of it.
