Last light on Newhaven

Every other photographer in Edinburgh will be following the Torchlight Procession which I can hear as I am typing this but instead I decided to head down to the shores of the Forth and capture the last light of the penultimate day of the year as it faded over Newhaven and Leith. I love to be by the river, 30 minutes walk away from my home yet it feels like a million miles away from the city. I am so lucky to be living in such a beautiful part of the world.
