River Walk

It's been a day of preparations today - shopping, cleaning and cooking. Tomorrow we have 7 people and 2 extra dogs arriving to stay, to help us celebrate New Year - that will make 12 people and 4 dogs in total! We are really looking forward to seeing everyone.
Preparations were temporarily halted by a nice river walk with The Girls, followed by a power cut when a car drove into a telegraph pole in our road, bringing the cables down! Me and Mr M were first on the scene and fortunately no one was hurt.
When we got home, the enterprising children had lit candles and a fire in the living room. Tea was cooked in semi darkness, good job we have a lot of battery powered fairy lights!
