Grand Prix

Imagine for a moment...it is 1956. You are Mike Hawthorn driving a Vanwall down the straight at the French Grand Prix.  the circuit is at Reims.  There are three Ferraris in the lead but you are fourth. Then, two of the Ferraris break down. You are lying second. Go,go,go!

I was there this morning. I put my foot down but couldn't catch those Ferraris or the Vanwall. So in my imagination I came fifth. Not bad!
