Back to work, briefly

So a whole day in bed feeling rotten yesterday meant I was desperate to get up today even if it was to go to work! It was -4C and I had to scrape the car. Brrrrr.

The office was dead quiet and I have to admit to working rather slowly but got the essentials done before leaving at lunch for my half day.

I popped into Stony for a few errands and then met N at mine so he could pick up some of B's photos etc to put into store. I apologised for railroading him into taking the stuff but explained why. He was still a bit miserable about having to pay to store stuff but I did say it was his call and he could throw it all away if he wants to. He's also thinking of buying a house as an investment and I've offered to help him like I did for my other brother earlier this year.

I'm staying home this afternoon to continue to get over the bug and have made a nice tea (turkey and leek pasta - yum) for the family who'll be back later on. There's still half the turkey breast left over even after that, so I've had to freeze it!
