Walked around the Bolton Abbey estate this morning - starting at Barden Bridge - and discovered a trail depicting The Twelve Days Of Christmas

A very hands on display - drums to play - a plastic cow - whence once dressed up as milkmaids - one could pretend to milk - and these five rings to walk through - where amongst the display

Built up an appetite for scones and toasted fruit loaf afterwards
