Another bright, frosty morning when you just want to grab your camera and go!  Ironic, then, that the picture I end up with doesn't really convey that frostiness...

Plenty of others did.  I walked down a different track across our neighbour's farmland, alongside a drainage ditch where it would normally be too muddy or overgrown to walk easily.  There were reeds aplenty, glowing in the morning light, and the frost made his ploughed fields look even more neatly combed than usual.

But in the end, for some crazy reason, this icy pool of water and the reflection of an upturned pallet made the most appealing Blip.  It may be hackneyed but it still manages to draw the eye and soothe the spirit.
