Blue skies at Balmaha

Inspired by Skyegirl we took a run out to Balmaha to see the Tom Weir statue, unveiled yesterday. I've no idea what Tom Weir was like but his statue makes me think he might have been a happy soul. My boys enjoyed meeting the man, although eldest approached with trepidation, probably convinced Tom might spring back into life. He has a vivid imagination (and watches too much Doctor Who).
