Light

Went over to the exotic Ilse de Sheppey for some birdwatching today. I can assure you that it was very cold and the light was strange - as you'll see here. I started at Capel Fleet but took this at the coast, at Leysdown. The sun is hiding in the clouds here and throwing that spooky golden light which makes a nice backdrop for the tree. This is pretty much straight out of the camera; just cropped and sharpened slightly.
