Frosty River Bank

I wish the days in Winter were all as good as today with a hard crispy frost in the morning followed by bright sunshine and no wind. 

I was up early to walk through the wintery  forest down to the river  and spent a cool but happy hour taking pictures of the frosty surroundings including this one of the frozen river bank.

After a warming cafe breakfast it was far too nice to go back home so drove down to Sandown beach to enjoy a long invigorating walk in the now warm sunshine.
