Victory
Let me preface this entry by saying I don't run. No, I don't think you understand, I really don't run.
Today I ran the furthest I have ever run in my life - 10k. My goal? To run the entire thing without stopping. And...I won! (not the race of course, my goal) I actually got a pretty good time too, 1:05. Andy and some friends ran today as well - and were much more impressive than I - but I met my goal. Thus, the SP makes a debut today.
Ben ran a sub-four-hour marathon. His first one, and he has been training at sea level. A remarkable run, and a much cooler photo. But, I scrambled up and down a small slope more than a dozen times for this SP, and it is not going to waste! Sorry Ben. I still think it was a fine effort.
Andy and Sarah both rolled off the couch and ran a marathon and half-marathon. Distances I can't even comprehend running - much less running straight off the couch. Hat's off.
