Grisedale Pike in the snow

Back to Keswick today to continue with the book next week, but with snow on the tops, I took the opportunity to climb another Wainwright. Conditions were breezy on the top (about 40mph) and full crampons were a blessing (of sorts - I think I could do with a better pair!) But It really was breathtaking and exhilarating - almost 200 photos taken, but this, just as I went over the top, with the old wall snaking away into the cloud - summed it up perfectly.
