300 Unnamed Graves

Today we drove, in horrendous weather, from Philip Island to Sorrento.

Once in Sorrento the sun was shining and we enjoy a cheeky glass of champagne whilst watching the world go by and the boats!

After a small bite to eat we took ourselves off to the Mornington Penninsula, and walked the 3.8kms to the Point Nepean fort. We took the beach route on the out going walk and came across a forgotten cemetery. 300 early settlers - the first Europeans in Victoira are buried here. No identification as to who they were.
It was a windy hike to the fort but well worth the effort. We walked back a different route. In total we did about 7kms in total.
We have certainly earned dinner tonight!
Tomorrow sees us settle for four days along the Great Ocean Road
