Pedal Person

This is across the street from our house. The trash is being collected by Pedal People, "a worker-owned human-powered delivery and hauling service for the Northampton, Massachusetts area."

This person comes every week to collect trash from this house, and he hauls it two-and-a-half miles to the nearest "transfer station." This worker-owned enterprise is environmentally benign and certainly also beneficial to the health of their workers.

I was convinced that I had blipped a pedal person previously, but I couldn't find it until today: here it is!
