Tower

We met our friends Angie and Richard for lunch at the Stable Bar today. It's a restaurant right on the south edge of the city, but it feels like it's in the middle of the country. It's in an old converted horse stable. We had a nice walk down from the main road on quite a frosty day.

This was my starter - a tower of Stornoway black pudding with caramelised apple and red onion marmalade. It was absolutely superb!

We had a few beers and a good catchup. A really nice afternoon :)
