Reprieve

I had other photos to blip today but I'm going with this fella again because I was just so relieved to see him, after hearing shooting in the fields round about us all morning.

This afternoon and evening we went up to see some friends and helped them eat some of their Christmas cheese quota. 

It was a great evening until their dog decided to launch herself at the table with G's glass of wine on it. 

Needless to say, that resulted in red wine arcing across the light coloured carpet like blood spatter, although I'm seriously impressed that G managed to catch the falling glass and ensure that only half of its contents were left behind at the scene of the crime.
