Delays at the airport

Our daughter was due to fly out at 6.00pm tonight to Gatwick, due to a plane having mechanical problems at GatWick an doing a forced landing the airport closed and knock on delays put her flight back over 3 hours with a connecting flight to get too. At time of posting this blip she is still travelling
