Liss Mill
This is an old mill building in the village of Liss. The Domesday Book records that Liss had a building known as Liss Mill for which the owner had to pay rent to the manor. In years to follow there is evidence of more mills being in the area. I can’t find out anything about this particular mill; I imagine it was at one time powered by water (it sits next to a stream) and may have been used to produce flour. I particularly like its deep orange bricks and the white wooden structure at its top.
