Pepperoncini

Mrs Scharwenka has been on a trip for a few days in Venice. These lovely pepperoncini are one of the spoils of the expedition.  They are quite hot. but not viciously so, and add a bite if chopped into dishes such as scrambled eggs.

But they gleam so beautifully in the November sun.....
