Ottawa River Bed

Today we drove from Algonquin Park to Ottawa; the capital of Canada.
We were able to stay at the 8th floor of the old Jail Hostel. This historic jailhouse had been changed into a hostel in the past decades.

It turned out to be museum night this Thursday. So we could enjoy free museum entry from 17h to 20h. We walked past the parliament buildings and over the many channel locks to the National Gallery of Canada.

We slept behind barred windows that night.
