Through the looking glass....

We walked along the beach at Thornton Clevelys today in glorious sunshine.
On the way back to the car we came across this commemerative sculpture. It named all the ships that had been lost along this part of the coast from the 1800's to 2008 - there were plenty! The hole in the sculpture was a perfect reminder of how fragile we are compared to the sea!
