Festive table

I love the look of the dinner table set for Christmas lunch - before the crackers are pulled and the remains strewn everywhere. The candles are intact, the wine glasses gleaming, the anticipation grows.

Especially, it must be said, when I'm not doing the cooking, am ravenous after an early start, and have drunk a couple of glasses of de Castellane, my favourite champagne!
