VIEW UPON KARLSHAFEN

A surprise this morning. A thin layer of snow gave the world a new magic view.
My garden looked so pretty, and all the birds thanked me for the feeding.

After coffee Piet Hein and I drove to Beverungen for some shopping to be done, and from there to Meinbrexen where we walked to the big gravel pit. Many cormorants sitting together and the swan family we greeted there too.

My haiku:

White houses whiter

Snow came softly oh so softly

During the night

And the proverb:

As snug as a bug in a rug.
