Shopping and Contemplation

I did both today.

I went into Oamaru today to check out the shoe shop there that I like so much.  I bought a pair of jandals that I've been trying to get hold of for some time but was undecided about another pair.  While I was making up my mind about them I took a walk along the street and somehow ended up buying a new android tablet instead.  Hmmm, no more shoes for me today then!

Heading back to camp I decided to go past Moeraki and check out the beach on the other side of the headland.  I was stunned by its beauty.  The sand was really warm so I sat and buried my feet in it - which warmed them up nicely from  getting wet to take this photo.

It was a lovely place to sit and contemplate life.   Soul restoring.
