Its my daughter's birthday tomorrow and she had requested a trip to Camden Market as a treat.
So today I have taken her and her boyfriend there.
My head is spinning from seeing so many bright things - some of which were very nice and some not so. In particular Cyberdog was particularly amazing. To quote their website: "Cyberdog is a mash up of techno funky colours and cutting edge future shock which inspired a generation of clubbers and space cadets alike! Cyberdog has since morphed into a brand with a more accessible urban underground vibe, which can only be expected from a company with its roots now firmly established in London's Coolest hot spot, Camden Town."
If you have never been there is a confusing array of stalls in different inter-connecting buildings and it is very easy to get lost. As the market is by the canal I suspect that the buildings were warehouses for storing goods transported either to there or from there on the canal boats.
This picture is one of the wrought iron ceilings. A rather more sophisticated photo than some of the other brighter ones I took
Having bought miscellaneous gifts for people and Miss F treated herself to a lovely silver ring, I went to my company's choir practice (pefomance on 30 May) and they went to Hamley's Toy Shop - they are 20 and 21 but still big kids.
We met back up at Waterloo and had a Chinese take-away when we got home. - Now full and exhausted.
Thank you for all of the comments and favourites yesterday. I am overwhelmed by your kindness. Photo Mouse and his candles hit the spotlight.
