Rook Lane Chapel

This beautiful former chapel dates back to 1707. It lay empty for quite a long time after its closure in the 1960s but is now owned by a firm of architects who have their offices on the upper floor. The ground floor is a community facility for exhibitions, receptions, meetings and concerts. I visited in my lunch break today to see the Western Counties Photographic Federation exhibition. This was appropriate in two ways: I've just joined the local camera club, and this evening we had a visit from the architect (not from Rook Lane though) who is drawing up the plans for an extension.
