Avon Dam, Dartmoor, Devon

Another beautiful, crisp, sunny day, with clear blue skies. The downside was that the path up towards Avon Dam on the SE side of Dartmoor was very slippery with black ice wherever the sun hadn't reached. The walk was just what we all needed after all the seasonal over-indulgence.

I'd left a joint of beef to slow cook in the oven, so we came home to delicious smells and a very warm kitchen. Now we're watching the Christmas 'Strictly' (dancing) Special, recorded on Christmas Day: very funny and beautiful, too, in equal proportions.
