Before Xmas my ex mother in law very generously gave me some money as a present. It ought to have gone into the mess that is my finances but I couldn't help phoning up a well known Bodhran maker in Dublin and getting him to make me this thing of beauty that arrived today. I'm in love...but I'm not sure my neighbours will agree, my tin whistle, flute and recorder tootling may have been annoying enough but wait till they get a load of this bad boy!
