Busy Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas Day.

I did the Parkrun first thing. Conditions were perfect so I beat my previous time and ran 5km in 26min, 24 seconds.  

Then we had a busy house for a bit - as well as MrsCyclops,BabyCyclops and I we had my parents staying, and my brother and his boyfriend dropped in for presents and coffee.  Here you see the latter introducing BabyCyclops to his new Sophie the Giraffe.

Dinner went well in the end too - my parents had brought the turkey (and stuffing etc) and I just about managed to prepare it into edible form and throw together a few trimmings.  There were some hairy moments in the kitchen and it was 15 minutes later than planned, but red wine and a good feed sorted it all out!
