a quiet day

Christmas day was a quiet do, with just the three of us.  I managed to get the slow cooker on in time so that we could all eat at lunch,  and I was quite spoilt with some lovely presents... but there comes a point when being indoors is all a bit much... Our house is normally a bit on the chilly side,  but Dave's dad's is mostly kept at tropical temperatures... so after being down south in  bustling traffic and city's and towns, warm houses and hot hotel rooms,  I really needed some open space... a quick walk and a calm view helped to restore me ...
