Old Style

Liverpool today with Helen and Becky.Finished my shopping in about half an hour,lunch and a few pics down by the waterfront. Lovely Winter Sun after a sharp frost last night.
I like to shop locally and not resort to the internet if it can be helped.Wilkinsons for a couple of camera things,battery and ND filter  neither of which were stocked.Three shops to find one pair of jeans in the size I need.I am not an unusual size it is just further around my waist than it is down my leg.Not unusual in middle age.While I am on this subject what happened to just buying a pair of jeans?Regular,straight,boot,comfort(why would I want a pair that isn't)stretch,Texas fit,Arizona.What is all this?Had to settle for a 30in leg described as short.Not for me it isn't!
