Winter Tide

The sea was rough today, after being dead calm yesterday, although there has been no wind. Apparently it has something to do with the moon. It's at times like this I wish I had listened more in Science at school!

It has been a glorious day and the sea actually smelled like the east coast, that lovely seaweed smell. I do like to be near the sea when it is rough, although not in it or on it.
