Amazing evolution!

A series of back-blips start now...! I spotted this amazing feather at a house party this evening (which followed a series of work-related meetings during the day). I've never seen one like it - apparently from an Argus pheasant. Incredible how it has evolved those bulbous-looking spots, complete with highlights and shadows - mind-boggling!!
