Midwinter afternoon

A gorgeous cold and misty golden hour today.

I took the dog and the camera up to the woods and saw nuthatches, great tits, robins and blue tits. But in the spirit of being a bit more flexible now that I'm starting year number 4, I only took the 50mm not the 105 (which is the nearest I have to a zoom and my default lens pretty much all the time) so although I took some lovely photos, I couldn't get close enough for me to be completely happy with them.

I do like this one though.
