Hair ice fungus

Another trip to RSPB Lochwinnoch today, this time with Jack and Jamie. I came across this cotton-like substance on a log, and I am pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday. It appears to be hair-ice fungus which is pretty rare. If conditions are right it causes hair-like fronds of ice to form.
