A Trip to Mui Wo
Today was Open Mic at church again which so far had proven to be a rather emotional and encouraging service. Our Pastor encourages us to come forward and give thanks/share what God has done in our lives this past year, so that it may be an encouragement to all that He is VERY evident. It is always so moving to see our friends (brothers and sisters in Christ) come forward and share about God's faithfulness through all sorts of trials and tribulations. It was church happening before our eyes. PTL!
Martin and I then raced off to catch a ferry to Mui Wo where we met up with his colleagues from the Pen HK with his young family. It was a lovely day out and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know their 6yr old who is such a brainiac regarding all things aquatic! Fascinating chap.
While out playing with the young lad, I bent over to zip up his jacket as it was getting chilly and I've gone and put my back out ... And it's bad! I don't know why these silly things keep happening. As if I don't have enough pain already, aaarrgggghhh!
Anyway, I'm laying on an heat pad and its helping. We watched '300' tonight after dinner, such violence, we really know nothing of how gruesome battle used to be/is. So glad we don't live in that time.
And today's sad/big news, another airline has gone missing. I'm just speechless at all that's happened this year.
Maranatha.
