What a bunch of misfits we are!

This is the McHugh side of my family - mum's half! Nanny treated us to a family lunch at 'the Killy' as it is locally known. Its Sunday roast carvery is hard to beat and always a highlight!

When we left, my 2 younger cousins took off up the steep bank at the back of the hotel and challenged me to follow them. Needless to say, me being in a short dress and slip on flat pumps, I was not kitted out to race them up a steep grass hill - during attempt 1 I came to a stop half way up and had to crawl back to the bottom. But not to be outdone, the country gal in me woke from her city life slumber and threw off my shoes to try again - all I can say is thank goodness for black tights for fear of having flashed anyone during the run up!

I'm getting too old for all this carrying on! hahaha!!
