Can you tell what it is?

Finally we have a frosty morning!
One of the really great things about the Christmas holiday is that, once the big day is over, I really don't need to do anything except recharge the batteries after a busy year. 
That means admiring the beautiful blue sky from inside, and a quick foray into the garden with my camera.

This is the subject of the weekly blip challenge, one of a few similar items scattered around the garden, courtesy of Bella who hunts them down in the park.
