fishful thinking...

..and another beautiful day with an early start for the lad and me.

At the river by nine and we had the choice spot under a tree with a great view of the water between the jetties where junior swam, boated, paddled and made friends for FOUR hours! He's a tad rosy as a result regardless of the gallons of 50+ sunscreen.
The place was packed by mid morning and included 'two gals a baking and  a fisher fellow in his red shorts.'

Unprompted,Junior lent his body board to a young lad bemoaning the fact every else had one and he didn't. The lad's Mum congratulated junior on being such a kind, thoughtful and generous young man... I have to say I was very proud :)
