Brant Broughton church

Heading down south the light was suddenly spectacular so I pulled over to alleviate the tedium of the A17 to take a quick blip of this striking gothic church. Just past here is a village you always had to drive through, Leadenham, until it was eventually bypassed. I find it hard to believe now that all the heavy A17 traffic used to wind it's way through there ... bit like Staveley near Kendal, Temple Sowerby on the A66, Cockburnspath on the A1, and many more I guess ... they changed overnight once bypassed.
